The Other Side of Darkness - June/July 2016

I think a part of everyone's life is getting through those patches

of darkness, sometimes called "The Dark Night of Soul".  Whether

dealing with the loss of a loved one, illness or depression, into

every life a bit of rain must fall.  I had some dark days this year,

but have been fortunate to have the Light emerge again in my life.

This piece reflects those dark days and the lifting of that night of

Soul with the emergence of the Light.  In some ways it was quite

a difficult piece to create, as I wanted even the dark parts to be

beautiful.....for because of the dark, days I was able to gain growth

and understanding about myself.  So I must see even the dark days

as a real gift.  But creating the Light was joyful.    Like emerging

from dark times does create a rather blissful joy :O)
