Clear Glass Window - May 2016

This is a project that I've been contemplating for quite a

long while.  When we raised the ceilings in the front hall to

their original height, it exposed a curved large plain glass

window, so I thought perhaps a clear glass mosaic would

work well in this space.  Hopefully it looks rather Victorian

and lacy.....an attractive addition and not a distraction from

the interesting original 1890's fixtures.

The glazier cut an exact replica of the existing window,  to which

I attached a variety of molded clear glass dishes, etc.  This heavy

piece then was set into the original molding, being held by 4

bronze brackets.
